France are planning to toughen the ban on religion in schools by introducing the 'Charter for Secularity in School.' The 15 point charter is to be displyed in poster form in every state finded school in France and has increased tension between other faiths particularly Muslims. Dali Boubekuer, the French Muslim Council chairman said that "90% of muslims will feel like this charter particularly targets them."

Peillion, Frances Education Minister says that "Secularity is about the equality of everyone in the Republic. there are those who think is is all banning things. In fact it was what allows us to live together freely."
