Stars as Capital Value
The Terminator series is a good way that shows stars as capital value. In 1991, in Terminator 2:Judgment day, Arnold was the Protagonist in it, and it made 204 million, and in Terminator Salvation, which costed 200 million, made only 125 million at the box office. This is mainly because most people only see the Terminator series with Arnold in as some, massive Machine that's unstoppable, and if he isn't in it, its just a normal, repetitive Sci-fi movie. Also Arnold is a Governor of California, and this has him in the news a lot more than usual, and given that he still is in movies, he is in the public consciousness more than usual. Also his background in bodybuilding has him a large fan base already because he had won Mr Olympia 6 times, and was already world famous as being the best body builder in the world, so going into film would want his fans to see him in acting. Arine brings his own qualities and unique personality and to have him in a movie brings millions of viewers alone. He is an Austrian body builder and that has never happened before, ever.
