screenplay reflective analysis

For my screenplay, I wanted to create a Dark Comedy type film that has a light hearted but comedic take on one of the modern worlds most disastrous events. I decided to make the characters ‘loveable bad guys’ so I drew a lot of inspiration from the film Four Lions, I also played on an Irish stereotype for most of the characters for comedic value, but I also took advantage of the cliché of the unintelligent member of the group who occasionally shows a sudden burst of extreme intelligence, similar to the ‘dumb blonde’ we see in many films but a male version.
