 Film star qualities: Jennifer Lawrence

Although Jennifer Lawrence stars in our generations main film franchise, the public are still not bored of her charisma. The public thrive off her honesty and the fact that she isn't any ordinary film star with an over-sized ego, "Every time people ask you why you don't do studio movies, you always say that it's because you don't care about the size of the movie, you care about the story and the character. But you're a hypocrite, because now you have a story and a character that you love, but you're not saying yes to it because of the size of it." Lawrence is appealing to many people due to her not coming across as superficial in this statement, making her more relateable.
Ideologically, on screen she represents a strong, inspiring, female lead in the popular sequel of The Hunger Games. Jennifer's acting is vercitile, always fulfilling the audiences expectations and bringing something new to the screen. having a heroin lead in an action film is very rare but it was a very successful move. There is such complicity in her characters she portrays that it is obvious that she put's a lot of her own charisma in to the character she is portraying. 
Instead of going one way with her character Katniss Everdeen, she has ensured that she will be associated to multiple characters.  Jennifer was awarded with an oscar for her outstanding performance in Silver Linings playbook. Her funny, down to earth personality is what makes her interviews so popular. Interviews with stars can tend to become boring due to the actors holding back and ensuring they don't say anything embarrassing. Where as Jennifer Lawrence confesses her love for pizza... The public enjoy someone who brings something new and exciting to the scene, not "Oh is that Anne Hathaway again".










Her appearance has appealed to many as she has been voted
   one of People magazine's most beautiful people in the world. this attracts both male and females to the film star. In 2010 Variety magazine ranked her as the top ten actors to watch. although Jennifer Lawrence is constantly complimented for her stunning looks, in Hollywood she is classed as obese. her response to this remark is what inspired so many young girls and made her more popular in the media.
"In Hollywood, I'm obese. I'm considered a fat actress. I eat like a caveman. I'll be the only actress that doesn't have anorexia rumours! I'm never going to starve myself for a part. I'm invincible. I don't want little girls to be like, Oh, I want to look like Katniss, so I'm going to skip dinner!"
Lawrence's rebellious attitude is extraordinary, causing her audience have a deeper fascination about her. society in general love a deva who goes again status quo as to them it is intriguing.
