Analysis of
Fellowship of the Rings
The
scene starts with a wide shot with a low angle. By using this type of shot it
make the Hobbits look small and compacted into one space. It also gives the
audience the feeling that they are also
in a compacted environment and gives the feeing of isolation.
The
second scene is a very wide shot. This shot is used to make the villain look
more larger then it actually is. It also
makes the audience feel that this character is a character that you should
fear. It also makes the Hobbit look even more compacted.
The
third scene is a close up low angle shot. This shot is used to make the main
character look isolated and alone. Even though the other Hobbits are around
him. It also gives you the feeling that the main character is the villains
pray. It give the audience the feeling of being compacted and being alone.
The
fourth scene is an extreme close up shot. This gives the feeling that the character
is close to danger and has nowhere to go. It also gives the audience the
feeling of fear that at any moment the villain can notice the main character at
any second.
