Analyse a trailer by discussing the generic conversations.

Harry potter and the order of the phoenix

In this film Harry is a lot older and much more mature form the pervious film. In trailer its seems like he is a lot more dark magic in this film. I think the genre of this film is romance, fantasy and thriller.

The very first shot in the trailer is Harry then it cuts to Lord Voldermourt, cuts to harry having a flash back of Lord Voldermourt killing his parents, this is evidence of a darker film. The next shot is Harry and his cousin in a park and the winds comes and then suddenly dermentors come. Dementors are prison guards in the magical world so that is evidence for a fantasy film.

The next shot is Harry and the other members of Hogwarts are flying on a very strange looking animal that doesn’t exist in real life.  They are flying above a lake and forest with a huge castle this once again represents the fantasy genre.  Cuts to a new teacher in Hogwarts that know one likes, and students are walking round no top buttons done and shirts un tucked, and the teacher uses magic to fix their uniforms. This also represents fantasy.

In the next bit of the trailer Harry and a Girl that none of the audience really no kiss. In no other Harry potter film students or any other characters kiss this is evidence of the genre romance. Also later on in the film Ron, Harrys best mate gets a girl friend also that has never happened in a harry potter film.

Then it cuts to the two twins flying through the main hall on broomsticks, which are only in the Harry potter world. They are casting spells at the new teacher no one likes and they magic dragon made up out of a fire and chases the teacher. All of that is fiction, and all made up for harry potter and its all fantasy that’s why I think the genre is fantasy with a few different elements in it.
