Get Carter - Anna
The character of Anna in Get Carter plays a very passive role as in the scene where she is lying on the bed Carter is in control of her pleasure and she follows his instructions without any hesitation. Flethcher enters the room and asks her if she is having "gut trouble" and she stops what she is doing due to her fear of a man. Jack tells her to "wait till Sunday" which shows how he is in control of her sexuality. Both Jack and Fletcher disregard her as having and sexual desires of her own and consider her as their property. This indicates how sexual liberation in the 70s failed and was not wide spread, women were still treated as unequal and the introduction of the pill did not benefit women at all.
