What role does Glenda play in the narrative of Get Carter?

In the film Get Carter Glenda belongs to Kenner she is used and controlled by men in the film.  she is there to give men pleasure and to give Carter information and when she is no longer needed she is killed.

in her first appearance we see her sitting behind all the men which has connotations of her class in society as she is positioned behind all the men in the room, showing that she is not seen as an equal and is there to be looked at by the men. in this scene Glenda is wearing very reviling clothes that show off her legs and chest. As keener owns her it is obvious that he has told her to wear them clothes for the other men. Even thought he dress is very revealing she moves it even more when she is about to sit down so her full leg shows. She uses these clothes to a advantage as the only power she seems to have is her sexuality. this is proven when we see her ask Carter to put her glass down where she leans forward presenting her chest more. In the end we see that even this is controlled by men as she has to seduce them to ask a 'favour' which shows she is still being controlled even if it isn't obvious as she has no power against men.

in this scene we see how much women are controlled by men even when we don't realise. when she is talking to Carter about the fletcher brothers men are talking over her even thought she is saying important information Kenner starts to talk over her about poker and money. All the males dietetic voices are a high level when talking so you cant hear Glenda as much, this relates to the society.
