This article is very helpful and relevant to my research as it mentions Iron-Man (Jon Favreau-2008) towards the end of the article. It talks about how the villain of the film are Middle Eastern Islamic extremist terrorists and how they are overshadowed by a bigger evil which is the "uncontrollable destruction of unfettered capitalist greed". The article also mentions that Obadiah Staines' "increasing insanity represents the unquenchable thirst for power" and how this corporate figure emerges as an unstoppable villain, just before the financial crash of 2008.
The reason this is helpful in my research is because Iron-Man is one of my three films in which I have chosen to talk about in my research, and the article references in what ways it represents some political events in recent years.
