The Expendables Advertising

The expendables came out on the same weekend as Scott pilgrim, which would have obviously caused a huge competiton for scott pilgrim as the movie was a huge blockbuster full of nostalgic stars such as Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li and Jason Statham. However, Scott pilgrim just didnt seem to have a chance from the start, The advertising of the film was all too little to put up a fight against The Expendables which practically took over the internet and had an advert shown on tv atleast once every 30 minutes. It was literally impossible to avoid the constant stream of adverts for The Expendables whereas Scott pilgrim was practically unheard of everywhere except on online forums
