Teaching Private Pyle Scenes

The first scene begins with the construction of the rifle. During this scene the rest of the platoon are seen through the middle of Private Joker and Pyle who are set off to either side of the frame, this instantly informs the audience that the pair are lacking behind the others. At this moment in the film, the audience have already started to align with the platoon and the marine/group mentality and have seen Private Pyle as an outsider, allowing the audience to see that the pair are lacking behind shows that Private Pyle is dragging Private Joker behind with him but as the scenes scene
