Batman Trilogy

How important are film franchises to film studios?

Film Franchises are extremely important to the studio’s for instant The Batman trilogy as the film is not just where the studios stop at and settle with but then go on to make much more in The Batman’s trilogy spanning from a Batman video game to a Batman potato head this showing just the wide range of possibilities concerning merchandise and also shown through the profit of all this and that being $2.5 billion ad not only does merchandise earn you a bit of extra money but it give’s you finically stability as it is something to fall back on if the film was to fail which is not the case for atman as the films all done well the 2nd and 3rd more then the 1st as the 2nd and 3rd hitting the billion mark and the first only making $373,298,774.

Horizontal integration is when a company allows other company’s to be involved in a project giving them a job of some sort; this is easier when owning the company as they would have more control and I probably most commonly done with companies that you own.
