In the final scene of the film Alex is cure and can finally view women as erotic objects again. We are able to share this feeling with him because Alex can now watch women in a sexual way without any pain and therefore we are now able to view these images ourselves and we can share in Alex's joy at being 'cured'.
The fact that we feel happy or relieved when Alex is cured and is able to commit crimes again is because we have been punished with him by being subjected to the Ludivico Treatment and having to watch Alex suffer. However now he is cured we are also cured and are able to view these images and commit crimes again along with Alex and even though these are despicable crimes we are still happy because we have been through the process with Alex and have become reliant on his ability to do such things and therefore are glad he has returned to his former self.
