During the finale, how are both Alex and the spectator rewarded? Both Alex and the spectator can be rewarded because Alex is back to his original ways because when Alex was his original self at the start the film was more enjoyable and pleasurable for the spectator and that we enjoy seeing Alex back as his original self. Alex is rewarded in the way he doesn’t feel ill on how he thinks of anything sexual anymore and he enjoys the original Alex as shown by his thoughts he has during the final scene. Us as a spectator are happy and rewarded that original Alex is back and will be back to his old ways and not be punished for his behaviours.
