Mental Illness in Films Perceived Through Other Social Mediums

A society of "bloggers" from Tumblr can in fact be dangerous in their promotion of what is beautiful. On one post there is a still of Angeline Jolie in Girl, Interrupted with hashtags such as "Beautiful, grunge, crazy, pale" instead of focusing on how the character emits self-neglect. This can be seen as dangerous as these young people are 'glamourising' the mental illness they see on film. 
The "bloggers" 'focus on the cuteness' of the character in The Virgin Suicides by making post and jewellery inspired by them.
