Conspiracy Theories of JFK and Hidden Agenda
I chose this article because conspiracy theories have always been a subject that have highly interested me. But also because the article focused around a very popular conspiracy theory that many people have heard of whether they are aware of it or not, I am talking of course about the JFK Assassination conspiracy. However it was not only the JFK conspiracy that appealed to me but also the reason that the article introduced me to a new conspiracy theory: the conservative parties alleged involvement in the IRA uproar in the Republic of Ireland during Thatcher's reign of power.
The article was written by Jerry White and talks about how "mainstream films which focus on governmental conspiracies have a value in making viewers question mainstream assumptions about people in power" (the quote inserted is an actual quote from the articles introductory paragraph).
