This quotation is from an interview with Scarlett Johansson about the film with Captain America 2 the interview was done with Total Film. 

This quote from Scarlett Johansson tells us that Marvel at this point in time is not interested in making Black Widow a love interest lets say a prize for Captain America this is a very good step in the right direction because this has usually been the downfall for women in superhero films in the past. Because we have had our weak women in superhero films before for example Mary Jane in the spider man franchise she is very weak because she is always screaming and needing Spider-man's help. But mainly she is just a love intrest for the Spider-man because throughout the whole of the first film Spider-man is trying to get his love intrest and by then end of the film get's his supposedly prize because of his super powers.
