Boogie Nights

The scene starts with Dirk Diggler and his two other friends entering the drug dealers house. Upon entering the house in a POV so we can see and hear what Dirk experiences, we enter in to a hazy atmosphere seeing some random guy dancing along with the music (which is diegetic), from this we already start to get a weird and unusual feeling about the atmosphere around us. As they come forth to the drug dealer, the camera changes to a high angle shot of our three main characters entering and jumping to the sound of what seems to be a gun shot. From this random sound we already start to get goosebumps to the weird confusing noises what are happening around us and the characters.

The camera then goes on to a close up of the drug dealer mimicking the drum beat as the song gets progressively louder. The camera then switches to Dirk trying to speak but the music blocks them out to where they can't hardly be heard, again making the scene just that much more confusing.
