The title of our groups film project is "the letter", a short film about a college student who finds a mysterious letter written by on of her ancestors in her local library, which when she reads she uncovers a brutal murder which happened during World War Two. I will be analysing the camera angles used in our film.

The first shot used in the film is a wide shot of Georgia, (who is the protagonist in the movie) walking slowly towards the camera which is positioned infront of the library she is heading towards. We decided to use this angle so that the audience will connect with her and form an identification, her walking towards the audience is symbolic to the relationship between her character and the audience, the closer she gets to the them the more welcomed they feel towards her, we also used Georgia on her own so that the audience understood that she was the central character to our film. This camera angle also raises the enigma code of where are character is going which is then shown to be the library in the next shot, this helps the audience feel curious about our character.
