Get Carter - Women used as tools
In the scene where Jack gets picked up by Glinda, we find out she is picking him up for someone else, doing their work for them. This shows that these men only trust women to be able to drive a car around, that they are not capable of anything else. She only ever refers to her 'boss' as "the demon king' which could represent the view that men held women in, that they are below them and can't refer to them with their actual name as that holds a certain amount of respect.
Further on in the film, we see Glinda in the bath whilst Jack is talking to her about the film. He's using her to get information, asking a lot of questions assuming that she's unaware of what he's trying to so.
