What Role Do The Media Play In La Haine?

The media plays an important role in La Haine, there is a scene where the trio are sat in a park and a television crew turn up and start asking them about the riots. Vinz is filmed when he is angry he says "what are you filming, son of a bitch?" this is how the media wants to show vinz and the community which is how the viewers will see him the media are constantly demonising them as a threat, so when all this police brutality happens it is justified to the people causing a blind eye to be turned. the camera angle of this shot is at a high angle, showing that he is seen as a lower class of citizen to the rest to the viewers creating a mind set of him. 
when the woman and the trio are talking they are never in the same frame together. this suggests that they are trying to represent the separation between the two different types of people.
