The Little Mermaid

Stereotypical as Ariel is spending ages getting ready and has “been in there all morning.” This is showing how Ariel cares a lot about her looks and this has a negative influence on younger girls who watch this and this is very stereotypical that women spend a long time getting ready to look attractive. This suggests that all girls need to do is look attractive

Ursula (the villain) is bigger, not as skinny and is of a darker complexion as for Ariel being very thin, white with long hair.

Cinderella

Stereotypical as Cinderella is washing the floors and does not seem to care much about the fact she is doing it as she is singing along as if she enjoys cleaning the floors. Very stereotypical –  implying women enjoy doing domestic work and should expect themselves to be the one who does it.

Snow White

Stereotypical as she is the damsel in distress when she is walking through the forest and is scared and trying to run away. Implying that women need to be saved by a prince (man) and need a man to feel safe. Implying that women are weaker and less fearless than men.
