Cinematography Lesson 2

Since it's birth cinema has continued to evolve allowing filmmakers to become more creative and experimental with their films. In just over 100 the camera has evolved from a large, heavy, cumbersome object that could only shoot from one angle to a virtual object.

Films like Tin Tin & Avatar include large sequences and sections of film that did not even involve a camera!

From Thomas Edison to James Cameron - film pioneers have been developing the camera and expanding the ever growing collection of tools filmmakers can harness to create their vision

This lessons charts the progress of the camera from 1893 - 2012
