Leonardo Dicaprio adds capital value to a film because of his consistency in his films that he makes, yet he also only costs around 20 million dollars to have him in a film; which in comparison to other actors is not that much. He is also a very popular man on and off screen, which again adds more revenue to his films because his fan bases will be more than likely to watch his film. Outside of acting he tends to be very popular because he gives to charity and seems a very genuine guy. He also has uniqueness about his acting; along with his looks which will both be a big attraction to people going to see his films. Dicaprio has won many awards for his acting; which he started at a very young age; starring in his first film at 19. From then on he went onto star in many films, with Titanic and Romeo and Juliet kicking off his career on the big stage after he won awards for both acting roles. He has now continued to live on too his big expectations and regular stars in high quality movies. His capital value as an actor is also very important to the director when employing him because his pull will add more to a films box office revenue.
