representation in Get Carter

 Men are represented in a very stereotypical manner. For example in the start of the film Carter and his bosses are viewing pornographic images, giving them a vulgar image. Men are also represented as being in charge and aggressive For example men are always the ones doing business, gambling & killing were as women are just used for sexual pleasure.

Woman is also represented in a stereotypical manner. They are sexualized a lot in the film and used. For example after carter has sex with Margret he puts her in a boot of car. And when the car gets pushed into the docks he watched cold bloodily as if she was nothing more than an object

Location – the film gives us an insightful look to the north south divide for example in the train journey it goes from a bright place to a dark industrial place. The people are also represented to be mutants. For example when carter is in the pub he sees a man with five fingers.
