What role do the media play in La Haine? by D.ford

In the scene where the Tv crew attempt to get an interview with the trio about the riots, the media is their solely to exploit the trio into committing rioters acts of formidability and attacks on the media crew. 
The first shot that shows the media as a watchful spy of the French 'normal' society is when the the tv van pulls up past the trio in the background beyond the railings of the projects. This low-angled shot shows the trio in what looks to be a 'zoo' like structure with high walls and a fence stopping them from escaping and protecting all whom are behind it, this is where the Tv crew has a chance to gain a 'real life presentation' of how inhabitats of the projets live and how they respond to being asked a civilised set of questions. This is a prime time for the media to be portrayed as a force of provocation and influence into how these set of people live beyond the brick walls of the suburban Paris. this shows the media as a negative force as the cameraman takes a POV of Vinz shouting and using formidable hand and body gestures towards them, and the trio uniting like a mass to attack them they camera tracks the trio moving forward in a triangl eto show how they are organsised and when vinz thros the rock at the camera, the media then flee from the scene ina desperate attemt to
