Bill and Ted - alias Bill S Preston Esq and Theodore "Ted" Logan - are a couple of teenage heavy metal dudes who simply love to rock. But they're not so keen on studying - and their grades are far from excellent, in order to save their grades in history they go on a adventure led by George Carlin (Rufus) across time. If they fail not only will their rock band ''Wld Stallyns'' be left to ruins but so will their friendship, as Ted's father will send him to military school. Directed by Stephen Herek the movie takes a whole different perspective from 101 Dalmations running around London to two teenage rockers time travelling by time machine, collecting historical figures such as, Billy the Kid (Dan Shor), Socrates (Tony Steedman) and even Napoleon (Terry Camilleri)

The use of music is very significant in the film because not only is it important to the way Bill and Ted are portrayed as two 'metal-heads who can't spell'. We see that it not only impacts their lives in the film but others too.
It was no surprise that this sci-fi adventure more than quadrupled its budget. Its captivating scenes and hilariously entertaining script takes the comedy genera to another level. The audience would be laughing out of their seats, the movie is a sell out and a must see! The film was rated PG and aimed towards mainly the teenage age group because we can connect to the boys along their adventure as they make us feel part of it.
Bill and Ted's excellent adventure truly is one of the most amazing comedies of all time and is most definitely in my top ten.
