Initially, the scene starts of with an establishing shot with Whatberg, John C.riley and Todd pulling up in their car outside the drug dealers house. In this shot, their is no non-diegetic sound which suggests that around the area is quite empty.
Outside the drug dealers home are red and blue lights which symbolises the police which is quite ironic as he is a drug dealer, perhaps this is used to signify that something isn't right with him and that his character is quite a dangerous person.
As they reach the house and enter, the barred gates slowly close, as if they where captive in some sort of prison, the angelic music starts to play, making the audience feel uneasy, waiting for that final bang, such like a "Jack in the box".
The character, Todd has a moustache which often in them times suggests sleaziness, Todd is a very relaxed character throughout this scene whereas the other two seem on edge and uncomfortable in that situation. This can be seen when the characters on the couch and the camera is on a medium close up of them, and we can see that Todd is leaning back, very calm whereas the other two are hunched over and looking around suggesting that they are nervous.
As for the music, its very mellow where as the fire crackers contrast this as they appear very fragmented in this scene. All of the sound in this clip is all at the same level which is quite unusual as most films would want either the voice to be signified or the music although, the only noise that is over powering the music is the fire crackers, these loud bangs are unpredictable, almost like the drug dealer and Cosmo.
As the scene develops the camera starts to tighten making the atmosphere more aprehensive
